As July comes to an end it has also brought the hottest weather of the summer. Of course the snow is melting pretty fast but don’t get the notion that it’s still not amazing up here. There is plenty of snow up on the Palmer Snow Field and both High Cascade and Windells have been maintaining and making new features every session still. This session at High Cascade has also brought some of the best photographers in the biz to give campers all the pointers to see what it takes to take photos like some of snowboarding’s best.

- It might look like things are getting pretty thin up there, but there is still plenty of snow on the snowfield

- Matty Mo threading the needle on a narrow strip with plenty of consequence

- Tim Zimmerman giving campers pointers this session with High Cascade’s photo session

- Jed Anderson one of the many times he killed this rail all day long

- balancing act

- There are still some decent size jumps at High Cascade to get some airtime

- Jonah Owen sending it deep. Switch frontside 900

- HCSC Digger Justin Keniston locking into a front board

As Session number four at High Cascade comes to a close and two more sessions to go you might be thinking that conditions might be starting to die down. Of course then you would be completely wrong. Once again the Jeremy Thompson, Tim Humphries, and some of the other Sessions riders around killing one of the jumps in the High Cascade park. Along side of them was Davis Johnson getting into the session. So once again another great session up here at Timberline with High Cascade has come to an end, but it’s still far from over. Keep checking for more.

- High Cascade diggers prepping to pull all the rails out to set them right back up in a few days

- Brett Butcher with a textbook method on the booter

- Don’t let that dirty snow fool you, conditions up here are still prime

- Tim Humphries looking like he is about to see what his edge feels like on his head. Tweaked backside 720 Japan

- Davis Johnson giving the jump a go. Switch frontside 540

- Pat McCarthy taking off after a solid week of good riding and weather

- Jeremy Thompson, Davis Johnson, and Tim Humphries

- Jeremy spun every way on the jump in four hits, This time putting down a back seven

- Prestin Strout and Tim mid Iphone interview

- This might be the reason why. Tim Humphries poking the shit out of a frontside 540

Daily Mt. Hood Update July 7
By: Joe Carter
For the third session at High Cascade you could say they have made some big changes. For one, the superpipe that was 18 feet has now grown to 22 for the US and Canadian halfpipe teams to come get nasty in. The ropetow has also been made much longer to access much more. Plus, the diggers and cat drivers have also made lots of changes with the rest of the entire park. Keep looking each day this week for lots more action.

- Still plenty of good snow up there on Timberline

- Danny Kass and Louie Vito were lapping all day
