Thanks to Tahoesnowmobiles.com our crew took out 7 sleds yesterday in Lake Tahoe. The sleds were all brand new Artic Cat m6, m7 and m8 models. Pete also brought out his Ski Doo Snowpro 800. In total we had 8 sleds and thousands of rideable acres. It was a good way to escape the New Years crowds in South Lake Tahoe.

A few miles out Clenk’s m8 burnt a belt so we had to make a pitstop to replace it. Little did we know that it wasn’t as simple as changing the belt out. The clutch had jammed out of place and luckily Clenk is a mechanic and he knows how to fix a sled. Never go riding without a good sled mechanic.

Pete Scheira just got a new Ski Doo and he has been riding for a few good months now. He lives up in Mammoth and gets a good amount of practice riding his sled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He was our official snowmobile guide for this trip. Took us climbing up every hill that looked challenging. It was a blast. Here is Pete laying his sled almost 90 degrees.
