The following images show the amount of snow Upstate New York “Oswego” recieved during the month of February. At one point a single storm total reached over 12 feet. You can see the aftermath of accumulation that this lake effect madness left behind. These pictures are the image that a true snowboarder dreams about waking up to each day. A few weeks ago we cruised up to Mexico New York, a town that was supposed to have been hit with the same storm. These pictures prove that not to be true. There was a lot of snow in Mexico, but nothing like this. The images are current.

I remember seeing pictures like this once, it was a record snow year for the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range “Tioga Pass” and the images looked like this. One difference, NY is flat. California has an abundance of rideable terrain.

Enjoy.
