Mammoth Opening Day with Tyler Flanagan

Thursday was the first official day Mammoth Mountain was open for the season. We got to the hill at 7:30 am to find snow guns blazing and a white ribbon of death being prepared for anyone brave enough to run the gauntlet.
After watching Wooly the Mammoth mascot snake first chair from some people that had been lined up well before it was light out I met up with Tyler Flanagan and his dad for our first official runs of the season. Once we were done high-fiving every pro snowboarder imaginable including most of the Grenade crew we hopped on the lift.
