The Adventures of Danny and The Dingoepisode 4: Mountain Creek
Episode Number four coming straight from the old Grenade stomping grounds of Mountain Creek, New Jersey. A lot of the crew got their start on this mountain not mention where I’m sure a lot of brainstorming went down during chair lift rides which spawned the beginnings of Grenade. The crew gets to shred a little before the contest and it all goes down during a night rail jam and next day slope style.
Danny’s ex arrives for the Mountain Creek stop of the tour, where the crew does some snowboarding before judging the contest.
The Adventures of Danny and The Dingoepisode 2: NEW YORK! NEW YORK!
New York! New York! The crew heads to New York for the 2007 NYC Union Square Street Sessions where they meet up with Gooner and Dingo hosts the event. After a wild night on the town the guys get a 7:30 wake up call leaving New York in the dust for Loon Mountain during stop two of the Grenade Strikes back tour.
Probably the best thing you can take way from this episode is next time your at the bar and any of these Grenerds spit beer in your face don’t get mad. Just remember it’s the Grenade way of saying hello.
Danny and Dingo head to New York for a rail jam and meet up with Lucas Magoon, and Dingo claims he’s found true love.
The Adventures of Danny and The Dingoepisode 1: Launching in Aspen.
There was a lot of talk and rumors floating around about Danny Kass and the Dingo making a reality TV show. Well all the rumors have actually become a reality via fuel TV where the show made its debut a month ago currently four episodes deep. All of the shows were filmed two season ago during the Grenade Strikes Back tour so everything and everybody looks a little funny. It’s crazy how much changes in two years. Non the less the episodes are entertaining and pretty funny to watch the grenade crew do whatever the hell they want.
Meet the gang as Danny competes at the X-Games in Aspen and Dingo finds a Playboy Playmate who needs a snowboarding instructor.
Alex Tank - “The kids name is Alex Tank. He’s from Southern Germany, right now living and studying in Innsbruck. Years ago I did shred with him his local jib park Honeyhills. With his braces and skate helmet with a cap underneath it, he was probably the kid that showed the most interest in snowboarding…here in Germany. Today, beside getting rid of helmet and braces, only one thing has changed: skills. Alex for sure is one of the most techie jib kids the European Alps have to offer. We have him now riding for Good Question distribution supporting him with Celtek Gloves. Last season he got coverage and a some shots in his small video project: atagge.com. The video is funny and for free. Check out Alex’ part -the ender.”
I had no clue the Burton Love Series was causing so much of a stirred up. When there is any type of controversy you know CNN will get to the bottom of it. What better way to do that then ask a few new mothers and a old guy what they thought. I on the other hand would love nothing more than to see these gorgeous playmates smiling at me every time I take a turn, ollie a cliff or grab some rail. Who better to share a best day ever than with one of these fine babes… nothing like a celebratory slap on the ass after that sick double line. If you ever were into sleeping with your board as a kid thanks to Burton there is no better time than now to start that habit back up. I can say with out a doubt these are four of the best graphics ever. What is not to LOVE??
Alaska…wow… We are enjoying these webisodes all most more than the actual movie! In the second installment of five the crew wanted to capture Alaska’s endless terrain from a new perspective trying to convey to the us the viewer how its really like to ride a 2,000 foot vertical spine. Bringing together Travis, Mark Landvik, Nico Mueller and Jeremy Jones to ride and see what happens. I can’t think of a better mix of riders to watch ride AK together… Well I guess I could think of a few more but maybe that will have to be for the sequal. Check out a couple of huge slides, never before built jumps, gnarly lines and Lando’s fox hat. Stay tuned for the webisode three coming from EXPN soon….
“He (Travis) has the right mix of respect for the mountains and balls to deal with exposure. Look for him to carry the torch of legit Big Mountain riding.” - Jeremy Jones
# 2 Travis Rice and crew prove that there’s more to do with a helicopter in Alaska than aerial wolf hunting.
That’s it…well maybe there is some more. EXPN is hosting a series of five ” the making of that’s it that’s all” webisodes featuring some insane behind the scenes footy and interviews with the TITA dudes. With a movie and crew of this magnitude you know these webisode’s will be filled to the brim with some juicy shit. The first one starts you off with a little background of Curt Morgan and Travis relationship and starting philosophy of ” Let’s get the best cameras, get the best crew and do something different.” And that they did.
“As passionate as Travis is about snowboarding Curt is the same about cinematography. You get these two nuts together and that’s it that’s all” - Bryan Iguchi
Webisode #1 Miserable conditions. Heavy gear. Tiny shooting windows. Who knew making a snowboard movie was such hard work?
