Two weeks ago, the Bush administration announced it would fight to allow Shell to drill for oil in Alaska’s Beaufort Sea, just miles off the coast of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
An oil spill off the coast of the Arctic Refuge would be devastating for the polar bears, caribou and other wildlife that depend on the Arctic Refuge for survival.
Each year, Alaska permits private citizens to chase down and kill dozens of wolves using low-flying aircraft and high-powered rifles. Over the past four years, nearly 700 wolves have been killed under this aerial gunning program.
Our partners at Defenders of Wildlife have made tremendous progress in Alaska recently - with the help of citizens like you, they stopped Alaska’s grisly bounty proposal for wolf paws and blocked Governor Palin’s plan to allow the use of helicopters to kill hundreds of wolves.
Global warming is one of the biggest challenges of our time, and polar bears are already suffering the effects. Birth rates are falling and fewer cubs are surviving as Arctic sea ice melts away.
A recent study by the U.S. Geological Survey shows that critical polar bear habitat is in decline, and much of it will be gone by mid-century. Unless we do something now to curb global warming, this critical arctic habitat may completely vanish. Please take a moment to join fellow environmentalists nationwide and let’s speak out for critical arctic habitat now»
Welcome to the Snowboard Revolution East Coast office in Mayfield Heights Ohio. Its a pretty dope spot and is a sick work environment. No monster mountains but the winters here are pretty good and its a good spot on the East.
Here is a preview clothes that are available in stores from New York to California. They will all be available online shortly. We are in the studio today shooting them. They turned out great and we have over thirty designs. You will be stoked.
Yeah you know me! Matt and Justin were our homie LP’s from the SIA 07 tradeshow. They were both really cool and were the hit of the show. Forum snowboards had a barber shop in their booth where these guys got their mohawks done. At the end of the show they told us that Snowboard Revolution is down with the LPP “Little People Posse” and we are stoked to be. These guys were both super cool and good workers.
We are getting ready to launch these clothes on the site for everyone. Check out our crew in the process, ha behind the scenes with the Revolution crew. This is our little studio area in the offices, looks like a fun place to work huh? It is. Welcome to PARKland blvd. So the Revolution Project is soon to arrive at the SIA tradeshow in like two weeks. We are getting super nervous but also super excited. That is where we think the true beginning of this entire thing will be. We have been working super hard on this new apparel line called the “Revolution Project” featuring the cloud.
What does the cloud stand for? The cloud. Well if you look at the cloud you see that there is different levels of black and white stripes encased inside the cloud shape. The stripes represent the yin yang portion of life. Sometimes you have good days and sometimes you have bad days. No matter what you are doing life is an uneven level of good and bad. The cloud shape represents the imperfection of life and how perfect it becomes when seen from another perspective.
These are clothes for snowboarders and 100% of the net profits go to the injured snowboarders foundation. Can’t wait to help out.
