Yesterday Bill Cooley and I went to Peek and Peak. Peekn is a resort in Western New York that we rode when we were just groms. They opened last week and we decided it would be dope to go check it out. You know, water the roots a little. Billy Bacon is the new media director over there and he is also bringing in some new school flavor into their snowboard park. Its sure to be sick. Billy Bacon has some ill ideas and he now has the resource to bring them to life. He used to be a pro rider for Burton and lived in Jackson Hole WY for some golden years. So he knows whats up. Well check out his forum, and the peek forum at Peekn.com and see whats happening on the West side of New York snowboard style.
Heres a shot Bacon took yesterday on the hippo rail. Johnny Centi t shirt weather, old school shifty.

Whistler
Whistler, BC, – Winter provided Whistler with a sneak peek of what’s to come as the resort received the first snowfall of the season last night. Over 15 centimetres was measured this morning at the Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain (1,850 metres/6,069 feet), and as snow covers the mountains thoughts are ever increasingly turning to the upcoming 2006-2007 ski and snowboard season.
“Fall is the season of anticipation for skiers and riders everywhere,” says Stuart Rempel, Whistler Blackcomb’s senior vice president of marketing and sales. “While everyone’s stomping around their houses breaking in new boots and making sure their new jackets are indeed waterproof, Whistler Blackcomb is busy rolling out fantastic early season value for our guests, and preparing the mountain for the season ahead. Crews are working hard to complete the Symphony Express chairlift which will open on Whistler this November.”
