Archive for the “Propaganda” Category

Propaganda is like advertising in some ways. But advertising is usually trying to sell something and propaganda is usually political. We just use it to express our views to you for free.

Now is your chance to view how our stickers are made. Rocking a cloud sticker is one way you can show your support for the injured riding community. 100% of the net profit from cloud sticker sales go to the Injured Riders Foundation. Fly with the clouds and show your support.

The first step is to choose a good color of vinyl.

Sticker Operations: Sticker Colors
The image shows a few different colors we offer to make the sticker pop on your snowboard-skateboard-surfboard-car or anything else you want to stick it on.

The Sticker Operations Table
This is our sticker table where the STCKROPS peel the top sheet of vinyl off.

David Glover getting at the stickers
Here is Dave Glover aka “BIG SUPA” He is doing it Supa big with those pink stickers. He is in the process of peeling the majority of vinyl off. Now you can see the “target clouds” taking shape. Still a few more steps to go.

Bill Cooley-big boss- sticker operations
Now Billy “BIG BOSS” Cooley runs the vinyl through the weeder/sheeter and this applies the top sheet that you peel off when you apply your sticker. Then he individually cuts the stickers while using every safety measure possible. We tell every employee to”Keep your eyes on your work and DONT put your hand under the blade”.

Finished Product
The finished products (stickers) are ready to be shipped to you for your shop, your board, your moms back window of her car, and anything else you want to stick the clouds on.

SIA BOOTH

Damn, I can think back to Oct, Nov Dec when we were preparing for the SIA tradeshow in January and remember what a hustle it was to be ready for this show. One of the most important questions we all had was “What are we going to do about a booth?” Tons of ideas floated around, anxiety crept in, months went by and January was settled in. We were freaking out. We had a couple of ideas of what we wanted to see but noone could produce it for us. Then we met this guy named Greg Gheradini from GES tradeshow booth solutions. He was a big help and assisted us in creating our first ever tradeshow booth, and it was a hit. We were stoked on the way it came out, Check us out.

Tradeshow Booth Idea

Ahh Life is good. Can’t ever complain about chilling with three beautiful girls.  Chrissy LoConti, Annemarie LoConti, and Suz Iceman.

SIA Girls

Oh yeah, This was kind of tight. A comedian at Harrahs was rocking a Snowboard Revolution T Shirt. Super Funny!

Yeah you know me! Matt and Justin were our homie LP’s from the SIA 07 tradeshow. They were both really cool and were the hit of the show. Forum snowboards had a barber shop in their booth where these guys got their mohawks done. At the end of the show they told us that Snowboard Revolution is down with the LPP “Little People Posse” and we are stoked to be. These guys were both super cool and good workers.

If you have been floating around the snowboard community today you probably saw a bunch of changes to the banners and apperance of the site. Its not the announcement of “its coming” from our myspace page. That is still coming, this was simply Johnny Centi’s motivation to bust out 11 banners in one night and paste his influence all over the site. Like them or not, we would appreciate your feedback. So leave a comment and tell us if you love them or hate them and why.

Oh and you thought I was gonna leave you without a sick daily pic?

A Snowboard Forum needs a few things to be successfull.  One you need a snowboarder acting as the administrator to answer any questions people may have.  Maybe a kid that works in a snowboard shop and rides 6 days a week, or a retired pro would be cool.  Two you need people to keep it active and updated daily.  The best resort forum I have seen is either Mt. High or the Mammoth Mountain forums.  Check out our Forum, The Active Echo.
