Talk about progression. Talk about motivation. Talk about event organizers. Talk about Pro Snowboarders. Talk about Travis Rice. Travis is one of the most innovative and progressive snowboarders in the world. This winter alone he organized, hosted and won The Quiksilver Natural Selection contest. This contest was the first of its kind and truly unique for both riders and spectators. Along side his contest planning Travis has been filming for his video titled “Thats It Thats All” which will be a different perspective movie about Travis and the athletes he tends to work with. Travis is the kind of rider that will push himself as far as he can go and when he can’t go any further will pick up the camera and help attain footage for the movie. This kid is dangerously motivated. -Travis Rice (Photo by John Centi)
-Thats It Thats All Director Curt Morgan talks with Snowboarder Magazine about the film. I talked to Kael Hill last night and we will have an interview with him coming shortly. He sent me a preview of his new video part coming out for the “Brothers Factory” new video. I was hoping to use it for the site because its one of the most progressive rail riding video parts I have ever seen. He told me that this part will be used in the new Brothers Facotry video and I cant wait until you all see it. Its true. The rumors have settled an Zac Marben was without a doubt been riding a Volcom Snowboard at Mt Hood. Apparently Zac Marben and Seth Huot will be the main riders on these shred sticks. See if you can get yourself one… Check out our coverage from Volcoms most recent contest “The Peanut Butter Rail Jam” Suburban Blend in downtown Jamestown is one of the most core snowboard and skateboard shops in the world. They currently sell worldwide through the website Shoptheblend.com and have been really making a name for themselves this past year. Their are so many snowboard shops in the industry today and that is ok with me. The more shops in the world, the more people have the ability to get snowboard gear and the more people that will actually be snowboarding. Check out Suburban Blend now.
