Nothing better to clear your mind, body or stomach than a huge blowout right? Hell yea… well it has been straight pounding, puking and shitting snow out here in Mormon country. Brighton and Snowbird have gotten around 40 plus inches since Tuesday and today alone we got 6 to 8 of fresh in the valley. The crew at our pad were all feeling a little clogged up after a night late, late morning and a whole lot of doing nothing inside all day. After some debating on what to do we finally just threw our gear on and trampled outside. The minute we open the door the weather broke to sunny blue skies lighting up our backyard full of fresh pow. Luke Mitrani and Nick Russell started shoveling some snow while collecting random shit around the yard and before you could say Obama 50 times in a row we had a roof drop to table jump and the first air had already been caught. All we added was some wu-tang, threw in a BBQ, cup of gas, Luke took of his shirt followed by a couple talls and the Backyard Blowout was fully released. Definitely going to need some clean up after this one.

I had no clue the Burton Love Series was causing so much of a stirred up. When there is any type of controversy you know CNN will get to the bottom of it. What better way to do that then ask a few new mothers and a old guy what they thought. I on the other hand would love nothing more than to see these gorgeous playmates smiling at me every time I take a turn, ollie a cliff or grab some rail. Who better to share a best day ever than with one of these fine babes… nothing like a celebratory slap on the ass after that sick double line. If you ever were into sleeping with your board as a kid thanks to Burton there is no better time than now to start that habit back up. I can say with out a doubt these are four of the best graphics ever. What is not to LOVE??
A small cold system rolled through Salt Lake and the Wasatch front this weekend bringing 1-3 inches to the high country. The first dusting of snow in Utah was September 1st and then again mid September. This is the first snow in October while the end of the week calls for more snow through weekend and into next week. The fall colors are truly amazing right now. Great cold crisp weather for some hiking, bouldering and scenic safety meetings. Hopefully the ground will stay cold and this next system will allowed us to dust of the shred sticks and get some preseason action going. Winters right around the corner… Stay tuned!
